Rahm Emanuel may have taken a lot of flack on social media for wearing a denim shirt to a Chicago Blackhawks game, but it's the mayor who appears to be getting the last laugh.
Vanity Fair included Emanuel in its list of the world's 10 best dressed mayors.
Rahm joins the likes of Milan's Giuliano Pisapia and Paris' Anne Hidalgo -- cities noted for haute fashion -- on the list.
The magazine noted:
With a predilection for luxe fabrics and a salt-and-pepper ’do, Rahm Emanuel combines suave styling with a populist sensibility. Perhaps, no politician wears the navy suit better. His ties are slowly making their way through the blue section of the Pantone color chart.
