The Competition: Leslie Coolidge
The Buzz: Currently representing the Sixth District of Illinois, Roskam is the Chief Deputy Majority Whip and the fourth-ranking Republican leader in the House of Representatives. Roskam is also co-chair of the Republican Israel Caucus and the U.S. Korea Working Group. He has run a scholarship program for disadvantaged youth in Chicago. Roskam has held prior offices in 1993-1998 in the 40th District and from 2000-2007 in the 20th and 48th Districts.
