Mayor Rahm Emanuel was among some of the many politicians to bid farewell to Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show” during Thursday’s finale.
The Chicago mayor joined Hillary Clinton, Gov. Chris Christie, Sen. Lindsey Graham, Secretary of State John Kerry, Sen. John McCain and others once comedically targeted by Stewart, in saying a sarcastic goodbye to the talk-show host.
“What has nine and a half fingers and won’t miss you at all? This guy,” Emanuel said in the clip.
Clinton joked that she was disappointed Stewart decided to leave just as she begins her presidential campaign.
“And just when I’m running for president, what a bummer,” she says.
Clinton later tweeted a message to Stewart using the hashtag #JonVoyage.
“Missing Jon Stewart already. #GOPdebate #JonVoyage –H” she wrote.
McCain ended the segment on a more Stewart-like note.
“So long, jacka—“ he said.

Other comedy targets, including members of the media like Wolf Blitzer and Bill O’Reilly, also chimed in.
Blitzer wished him well, while the screen behind him on the CNN set read, "Screw you, Stewart."
The recorded clips were just some of many goodbyes said in the star-studded finale.
The show also featured a long succession of personalities whose careers were jump-started by Stewart when they were on the show, like Aasif Mandvi, Lewis Black, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Rob Corddry, Samantha Bee and Wyatt Cenac.
Fellow New Jersey resident Springsteen provided Stewart's last "moment of Zen." He performed "Land of Hope and Dreams" at the host's request, and then "Born to Run."
Trevor Noah replaces Stewart as host next month, inheriting most of the same staff. Noah appeared on Stewart's finale with measuring tape, jokingly checking out the set.
