Attorney General Lisa Madigan said today that a Rahm Emanuel run for mayor would be "a little premature".
Speaking at her West Side office, Madigan advised patience and waiting to see what the political landscape looked like.
"Let's see what the mayor decides and go from there," said Madigan.
Madigan, of course, has been dealing with her own job-related media conjecture. On Monday, influential political site Slate.com listed Madigan as one of the top possible replacements for replacing Justice Stevens on the Supreme Court.
