Joe Walsh Calls Obama Speech an “About Face”

Representative Joe Walsh, Thursday, held a small business jobs forum Thursday, timed to compete with President Barack Obama's address to a joint session of congress.

Friday Walsh caught up on what the president prescribed in his address -- in which he called on congress to pass a nearly $450 billion jobs package and quickly -- and said the speech was an "about face" fto save his "sinking presidency."

“The American people and Congress heard more of the same last night” said Walsh. “The President’s plan will do little to help small businesses that are struggling with countless new regulations and in finding access to capital to create jobs.”

The congressman, who's often critical of the president, said he would send Obama a letter describing his own job creation programs and hopes he'll take action on those recommendations.
