The Buzz: Franzen is a home health care provider, Sunday school teacher, precinct committeeman and small business owner. Franzen formerly worked as an election judge in two different elections. She is a member of League of Women Voters and attends monthly Bloomingdale Township Democrat meetings.
Franzen's top issues are to address the rights of low-income families and those with disabilities. She also wants to return jobs to Illinois and protect women's rights. She supports same-sex marriage and gun rights.
