City Clerk Miguel del Valle launched the first TV ad in Chicago's mayoral race. Sadly, it's in error.
In the 30-second spot, del Valle claims that this is the “first time in 67 years voters will be selecting a mayor for an open seat, creating a citywide conversation.”
Actually, it's the first time in in 63 years. Ed Kelly was forced to quit in 1947.
Shouldn't the city clerk, like, y'know ... keep track of these things?
