What to Expect Today:

The court ended Wednesday with 40 good candidates in the jury pool, but Judge James Zagel said he wants a few more for good measure. The woman with tickets to "The Oprah Winfrey Show" tickets was excused, though the man with the "bleeping" ringtone is still in. Another 15 jurors will be questioned Thursday morning, and Zagel still aims to hear opening arguments by Monday.

The Day's Updates:

11:39 a.m.  Zagel tells lawyers they cannot submit their final challenges today. This means the jury won't be empaneled until at least Monday.

11:28 a.m.
Lawyers disagree about potential juror #178. The government wants him out because he hid things on his jury questionnaire and he seems extremely nervous. Defense lawyer Sheldon Sorosky objected, saying 178 was being opposed because he "would not be in a Norman Rockwell painting." [Read full story ...]

10:37 a.m. Judge Zagel is running late. Start is one hour overdue.
