The unofficial start to the Chicago racing season is almost here.
Registration for the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K remains opens until all 40,000 spots are filled. This year's race takes place March 29, which means there is only one month left to sign up.
The 8K road race has been a staple in the Chicago racing circuit for the last 35 years. Over time, it grew from a small local race to the world's largest 8K race and the third largest running event in Chicago.
