With Kirk Hinrich injured and Marquis Teague recently traded, the Chicago Bulls were left with just one healthy point guard, DJ Augustin, on the roster. On Wednesday, the team announced they’d signed veteran Mike James to a 10-day contract.
James was a member of the Bulls to start the season, appearing in seven games for Chicago. He was waived on Dec. 16; just three days after the Bulls signed Augustin for the remainder of the season.
James will be in uniform and available for Wednesday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bulls roster now stands at 14 players.
