Chicago Blackhawks Announce Prospect Tournament Roster

Several players with NHL experience, including Blake Hillman, will suit up

The Chicago Blackhawks will send some of their top prospects to Michigan in September for the Traverse City Prospect Tournament, the team announced Wednesday.

The Blackhawks will compete with several teams in the tournament, including the Hurricanes, Blues, Blue Jackets, Red Wings, and Stars.

The Minnesota Wild and New York Rangers will also participate in the round robin tournament, which is set to start on Sept. 7 and will continue through the 11th.

First round picks Nicolas Beaudin and Adam Boqvist will both participate in the tournament, along with 2017 first round pick Henri Jokiharju, the team announced.

 The Chicago Blackhawks have played in five outdoor games, and we’re recapping them all before they play in their sixth against the Boston Bruins this season.

The team will be coached by Rockford IceHogs head coach Jeremy Colliton, and he will be joined by Derek King and former Blackhawks defenseman Sheldon Brookbank as assistant coaches.
