Blackhawks Unveil 2018-19 Preseason Schedule

The Blackhawks will play a total of six games during the preseason, including three in Chicago

The Chicago Blackhawks will release their full schedule along with the rest of the NHL next week, but on Friday they gave fans a taste as they revealed their preseason slate.

The Blackhawks will play a total of six preseason games, with three of them being contested at the United Center. Their first three games will all be on the road, and their final three tune-ups will see them on home ice.

Their home preseason opener is slated for Sept. 25, when they will take on the Detroit Red Wings. The Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets will also come to town, with the Blue Jackets wrapping up the preseason in Chicago on Sept. 29.

Here is the full list of the Blackhawks’ preseason contests:

Tues., Sept. 18: at Columbus 6 p.m.

Thurs., Sept. 20: at Detroit 6:30 p.m.

Fri., Sept. 21: at Ottawa 6:30 p.m.

Tues., Sept. 25: vs. Detroit 7:30 p.m.

Thurs., Sept. 27: vs. Ottawa 7:30 p.m.

Sat., Sept. 29: vs. Columbus 7 p.m.

Television, radio, and ticket information for the games will be released at a later date.
