Chicago Blackhawks Release Fascinating Hype Video Ahead of Season

The Blackhawks missed the postseason for the first time in 10 years last season

The Chicago Blackhawks are looking to get fans fired up for the coming season, and to help in that effort they released a new hype video on Thursday.

The video, titled “Believe in One Goal,” stars Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews, along with head coach Joel Quenneville and Team President John McDonough. The ad features the team members discussing the team’s failure to reach the playoffs last season, and chronicles their efforts to make sure it doesn’t happen again this time around:

“This is not an apology,” Quenneville says to kick the video off.

Duncan Keith also is featured in the video, saying “we’ve created the very standard to which we hold ourselves.”
