The Chicago Blackhawks have wrapped up the 2018 NHL Draft after selecting a total of eight players, including six on Saturday.

The Blackhawks, who did not have a second round pick, did make two picks in the third round, selecting forwards Jake Wise and Niklas Nordgren.

Here is the full list of players that will be joining the Blackhawks’ prospect group this year:

Defenseman Adam Boqvist – 8th Overall

Boqvist, the team’s highest draft pick since they selected Patrick Kane with the number one overall selection in 2007, scored 14 goals in junior leagues last season, and also appeared in 15 games with Brynas in the Swedish Hockey League, registering one assist.

Defenseman Nicolas Beaudin – 27th Overall

The Blackhawks went with back-to-back defensemen in the first round, selecting Beaudin out of the QMJHL. With the Voltigeurs last season, Beaudin had 12 goals and 57 assists, and is one of the top power play contributors in this year’s draft class.

Forward Jake Wise – 69th Overall

A stand-out with the US National Team Development Program, Wise will head to Boston University in the fall after scoring nine goals and dishing out 19 assists in 18 games in the United States Hockey League.

Forward Niklas Nordgren – 74th Overall

The Blackhawks traded back into the third round to secure Nordgren, who had 42 points (13 goals, 29 assists) in the Under-20 Finnish Elite League. He also scored eight goals in the Under-18 World Championships, leading Finland to a gold medal.

Forward Philipp Kurashev – 120th Overall

The Swiss sniper has had a strong career with the Quebec Remparts, with 19 goals and 41 assists in 59 games last season in the QMJHL. He also has done well on the international stage, scoring five goals and dishing out six assists in 16 international games with the Swiss team last year.

Forward Mikael Hakkarainen – 139th Overall

A former Chicago Steel standout, Hakkarainen had a good season with the USHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks, with 15 goals and 31 assists in 36 games during the 2017-18 campaign.

Goaltender Alexis Gravel – 162nd Overall

A German native, Gravel registered a 3.38 goals against average and a .890 save percentage in 39 games for the Halifax Mooseheads last season.

Forward Josiah Slavin – 193rd Overall

Playing for the Lincoln Stars in the USHL, Slavin had 23 goals and dished out 19 assists in 60 games. He is committed to play at Colorado College next season.
