Blackhawks Acquire Joseph Cramarossa in Trade With Penguins

Cramarossa will join the AHL's Rockford IceHogs after the trade

The Chicago Blackhawks have made a trade of minor league prospects, sending 2015 second-round draft pick Graham Knott to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forward Joseph Cramarossa.

Cramarossa has appeared in nine games with the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this season, scoring a pair of goals and registering an assist in those contests.

According to the team, Cramarossa will be sent to the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs after the trade.

Knott has spent the 2019-20 season with the ECHL’s Indy Fuel, scoring five goals and dishing out four assists in 13 games. He had played for the IceHogs in the two previous seasons, with eight goals and 14 assists in 126 games played.

Prior to joining the Blackhawks’ farm system, Knott had spent four seasons in the OHL, playing for the Niagara IceDogs and Windsor Spitfires.
