Chicago Blackhawks 2018 first round pick Adam Boqvist broke a lot of American hearts on Saturday night as he potted the game-winning goal for Sweden in a preliminary round showdown.

The goal gave the Swedes their 47th consecutive victory in round-robin play, and highlighted what has already been a very successful tournament for the Blackhawks' organization:

Boqvist has scored one goal and dished out three assists in three games for the Swedes, and he's far from the only Blackhawks prospect to take center stage in the tournament.

Swiss star Philipp Kurashev, a fourth-round pick in this year's draft, scored a hat trick in a round robin game, and is fourth in scoring in the tournament with five goals and an assist in three games.

MacKenzie Entwistle, acquired in the Marian Hossa trade with the Arizona Coyotes, has three goals in three games thus far. Defenseman Henri Jokiharju, the 2017 first round pick who already skated with the Blackhawks this season, has a goal and two assists in three games for the Finland squad.

Evan Barratt is also participating in the tournament, scoring the game-winning goal for Team USA in their first victory earlier this month.

The World Junior Championships will continue on Sunday, as Kurashev and Switzerland take on Russia in Vancouver. Team USA will be back in action on Monday as they take on Finland, while Sweden will battle Kazakhstan.
