Some of Alex DeBrincat’s teammates with the Chicago Blackhawks call him “cat” or “kitty,” but he went in the opposite direction in choosing a new pet.
This week, DeBrincat revealed on Instagram that he had adopted a new dog, whose name is Ralph. The precocious pup is also the star of its very own account on the social media site, and he made his debut this week:
“I tried having a photo shoot today but sitting still is hard,” the ‘pup’ said. “I’m very excited to have found my furever home.”
In his rookie season with the Blackhawks, DeBrincat led the team in goals with 28 and racked up 52 points, playing in all 82 games for Chicago.
