Hawks having a tough time jockeying for position in Central Division

In Wednesday’s edition of Hawks Headlines, we take a look at a couple of trades that divisional rivals made on Monday, the Blackhawks’ struggles this season against the Colorado Avalanche, and the player that the Hawks will be looking for help from as they play without Marian Hossa.

-We’ll start with that player, as Brandon Saad got the first crack at the top line spot alongside Patrick Sharp and Jonathan Toews on Tuesday. He will play a key role on the Hawks as they try to ride out Hossa’s absence, but his versatility in terms of being able to play any forward position should be an asset. [CSN Chicago]
