Divvy Releases Blackhawks Bikes for Social Media Contest

Prizes will be awarded for each Blackhawks playoff win

Divvy is taking its Chicago Blackhawks spirit for a ride.

The bike-sharing service partnered with Chicago’s five-time Stanley Cup winning team for a social media campaign offering chances to win Blackhawks and Divvy prizes. The game begins Monday at 12:01 p.m. and ends at 11:59 p.m. on the day of the Blackhawks last game during the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Throughout the contest period, five Blackhawks Divvy bikes will be on the run throughout the city. Each bike will be numbered with the years the Blackhawks won Stanley Cup championships: 1934, 1938, 1961, 2010 and 2013.

Fans that spot any of the Blackhawks-themed bikes can enter for a chance to win prizes by snapping a photo and posting to social media with the hashtag #BlackhawksBike. Photos can be posted to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tumblr.

Participants need to make their social media profile public for photos to be considered for entry. Once photos are posted, participants are eligible to win prizes after any Blackhawks win during the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Prizes include 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff merchandise, signed memorabilia, playoff tickets and fan experiences.

Divvy says it is looking for “fun and interesting” photos and will choose favorites following each Blackhawks playoff win.

Winners will be notified on the social network they post their photos to.
