Northwestern to Celebrate Saberi Release

Students, faculty and staff from Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism have been invited to celebrate the prison release of Roxana Saberi, the Northwestern alumna and journalist who was released Monday from prison in Iran.

The 5:30 p.m. celebration at Medill will take place in the lobby of the McCormick Tribune Center, 1870 Campus Drive, on Northwestern’s Evanston campus. 

Medill Dean John Lavine, Professor Jack Doppelt and journalism student Shari Weiss will make brief comments.
