He runs Schatz Investments. But it's his latest venture, Domu.com, that's piqued our interest.
Noticing that the rental market was ripe for the picking after the bottom fell out of the condo sales market, Schatz created the listing site to compete with the likes of Craigslist and rent.com in 2010.
All indications are that Domu, which means "home" in Latin, is here to stay. We're curious to see how the investor maintains his Internet venture when the market returns.
