Moo & Oink Finds Possible Buyers

Moo & Oink, the iconic grocery store, was to be auctioned off on Monday due to slipping sales, but a last-minute dark horse buyer has emerged to save the retailer.

Chicago attorney Bruce de'Medici has only revealed that the buyer is interested in the company's stores and intellectual property, like its website, but not who the interested party is.

There have been other bids placed on the company as well, but apparently the one de'Medici represents is the forerunner.

"It would be nice if Moo & Oink could continue," de'Medici told the Sun-Times.

So this may not be the end for the troubled cow and pig after all.
