Go to There: Next Door's Business in the City Event

Happy 2013, y’all. The proverbial slate has been wiped clean by the auto-rinse cycle of the days passing by and you’re likely trying out some new habits and behaviors. Well, nothing helps you stick with it more than having a network or a community of friends and supportive colleagues.

That’s what makes Jan. 9’s Next Door event, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. so cool. It’s aimed at people who are “starting a business or just daydreaming about it at you current 9-5.” That’s why it takes place after hours, most likely, but it’s gonna be cool because host Jessica Lively is a business designer and blogger who is one of you, Inc. Well readers. I mean, I don’t know if she’s read this blog, but her aim is the same as this blog, so it would make sense to recommend this event and also for you to consider checking it out.
