Go to There: CCC's Social-Media Strategy Seminar

It can be tough to know where to dive in with social media. Chances are, you probably know you should be using it, but if that's all you know, where the heck do you start? This May 30 introductory seminar held by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce ain't a bad place. Held at the chamber on 200 E. Randolph St. from 8:30 a.m. 'til 10 a.m., the seminar event will offer an overview of networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Yelp and all the others and explore how being on them can help grow your business.

With short presentations and tutorials, it will offer a nice cross-section of everything you can learn presumably without being a major information dump. To read more, hop over here. You can register here.

And if you also know you want to hire someone else to handle your social media duties, in the meantime, read this recent piece from Monster on recruiting for those positions. And, of course, there's no shortage of Inc. Well pieces on the topic as well.
