Viral Video Stars Get VIP Treatment at Bears-Packers Game

A father and daughter shared a special moment at a wedding earlier this year, and on Sunday they got an even bigger surprise thanks to the Chicago Bears.

Steve Benda, a lifelong Bears fan, got a surprise at his daughter Brittney’s wedding earlier this year. Rather than donning the traditional white wedding gown during their daddy-daughter dance, Brittney put on a special Bears-themed dress, and their dance quickly went viral.

“I was so anxious the day of the wedding, because I was so excited to share this big surprise with him,” Brittney said. “We found it about six months prior to the wedding. I even kept it hidden from my husband.”

Bears CEO George McCaskey saw the video, and he offered the enthusiastic pair four VIP passes to Sunday’s game between the Bears and Green Bay Packers.

“We get to go down there for pregame on the field, which is just a thrill,” Benda said.

The passes made the game even sweeter for Benda, who was also celebrating his 60th birthday as the Bears and Packers renewed acquaintances.

Brittney’s husband Michael, a military veteran, got to share in the experience as the Bears honored veterans before the game.

“What better game to have Veteran’s appreciation than Bears vs. Packers?” he said.
