After being listed as doubtful on the team's injury report, Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky will not be active for the team's Thanksgiving showdown with the Detroit Lions.

Trubisky suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings, and despite early optimism that he could play the team will go with Chase Daniel at quarterback, snapping a string of 22 consecutive starts for the second-year quarterback.

Tyler Bray was signed off the team's practice squad Wednesday, and will serve as Daniel's back-up.

Tight end Adam Shaheen and defensive end Aaron Lynch had already been ruled out for the game with concussions, and were both listed as inactive.

Fullback Michael Burton, offensive lineman Rashaad Coward, wide receiver Javon Wims, and defensive lineman Nick Williams are the Bears' other inactives.

Kick-off between the Lions and Bears is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
