Sunday could be a big day for the Los Angeles Rams as they take on the Chicago Bears, with a first round bye potentially on the table for the current NFC leaders.
The Rams, who currently sit at 11-1 on the season and are in the top spot in the conference, could clinch a first-round playoff bye if they beat the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
Unfortunately for the Bears, they cannot clinch a playoff berth this week thanks to their loss against the New York Giants last week, but they can move two steps closer to that goal if they can win and with a Minnesota Vikings loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football.
If both results ultimately happen, the Bears would need just one more win or one more Minnesota loss to clinch the division title next week.
Here are the rest of the NFL clinching scenarios for this weekend:
New Orleans Saints
-Can clinch the NFC South title with a win or tie OR with a Carolina Panthers loss or tie against the Cleveland Browns.
-New Orleans can also clinch a playoff berth if the Vikings lose, the Eagles lose or tie their game Sunday, AND if the Washington Redskins lose or tie their game.
Kansas City Chiefs:
-The Chiefs can clinch a playoff berth with a win or tie over the Baltimore Ravens
New England Patriots:
-The Patriots can clinch the AFC East title with a win or a tie against the Miami Dolphins
