Chicago Bears defensive end Khalil Mack has made an immediate impact on the team in his first appearance, and the sports world is taking notice.
Mack, who was acquired in a trade with the Oakland Raiders earlier this summer, registered his first sack as a member of the Bears, and he also returned an interception for a touchdown late in the second quarter of the game.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, who is a Cleveland Browns fan, saw the play and made sure to give him props for his strong play:
“I see you hit ‘em with the ‘silencer,’” James said. “Give me that ball!”
Mack is now the highest paid defensive player in NFL history after inking a six-year contract with the Bears. The team acquired him from the Raiders in exchange for two first round picks.
