Jay Cutler Will Attend Packers-Bears at Soldier Field

The Chicago Bears will take on the Green Bay Packers next week in the season opener, and one of the team’s most iconic players will be taking in the game at Soldier Field.

In a radio interview with ESPN 1000’s Waddle and Silvy, former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler announced that he will be in attendance at the game, but not in any official capacity.

Cutler, who played for eight seasons with the Bears before being cut by the team after the 2016 campaign, said in the interview that he will be at the game strictly as a fan.

Timothy O’Toole’s Pub in the Streeterville neighborhood will transform a private bar room into “Swerski’s” starting Sept. 5. NBC 5’s LeeAnn Trotter has all the details.

Cutler threw for 23,443 yards and 154 touchdowns as a member of the Bears, both of which were team records. He also is the team’s all-time leader in sacks, getting taken down 251 times in eight seasons with Chicago.
