Eagles vs. Bears: Bennett Questionable, Jones Out for Sunday

The Eagles will likely have two of their best pass rushers ready for the game

The Philadelphia Eagles will have at least one of their primary pass rushers in the lineup Sunday against the Chicago Bears, but another key member of their defense is questionable for the game.

Defensive end Michael Bennett, who is dealing with a foot issue, was officially listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report of the week. Bennett, along with defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, have posed a massive problem to offenses this season, and the Bears will be in for a challenge on Sunday.

Cornerback Avonte Maddox is listed as questionable with an oblique injury, but cornerback Sidney Jones was ruled out for the game with a hamstring issue, dealing a blow to the Eagles’ secondary.

Left tackle Jason Peters is questionable with a quadriceps injury as he prepeares to face off against Khalil Mack and the Bears, and guard Isaac Seumalo is also questionable with a chest issue.

Linebacker DJ Alexander, wide receiver Mike Wallace, and quarterback Carson Wentz have all been ruled out by the Eagles ahead of the game.

Earlier Friday the Bears listed linebacker Aaron Lynch as doubtful for the game, while saying that safety Eddie Jackson, defensive end Bilal Nichols, and defensive back DeAndre Houston-Carson were all listed as questionable.
