Chicago Bears' Winning Streak Snapped in Loss to Giants

The Chicago Bears’ five game winning streak has come to an end, but they certainly made it interesting in an overtime loss to the New York Giants.

Chase Daniel threw two interceptions in the game, but trick play touchdowns by Akiem Hicks and Tarik Cohen helped keep Chicago in the game. Unfortunately it wasn't enough, and their record fell to 8-4 on the season.

In the overtime, the Bears held the Giants to a field goal, but after three fumbles left them with a fourth and long near midfield, Daniels' last second heave fell incomplete as Chicago was defeated.

Odell Beckham Jr. had three catches for 35 yards and a touchdown, and he also threw for 49 yards and a touchdown on a trick play in the third quarter. Saquon Barkley had a monster game, rushing for 121 yards against one of the league's best run defenses.

The Bears were trailing 27-17 in the fourth quarter when they got a field goal from Cody Parkey to make it 27-20. The Bears then recovered an onside kick, and on a third and goal play with three seconds to go, Tarik Cohen threw a touchdown pass to Anthony Miller to tie things up.

That was as close as the Bears could get to winning, as Daniel's pass to Taylor Gabriel on fourth down fell incomplete and the Bears went down in defeat.

The Bears will have a big game next week as they look to recover from this loss, as the Los Angeles Rams will travel to Soldier Field for Sunday Night Football.
