Bears Sign Kicker Elliott Fry to 3-Year Contract

Fry made all 14 field goals he attempted for the AAF's Orlando Apollos last season

The Chicago Bears have added another kicker to their roster on Friday, agreeing to terms with Elliott Fry on a three-year pact.

Fry, who most recently kicked for the American Alliance of Football’s Orlando Apollos before the league closed up shop, went 14-of-14 during the season.

He was also a successful kicker at the University of South Carolina, where he made 66-of-68 field goal attempts during four collegiate seasons from 2013 to 2016.

Fry is now the third kicker added to the Bears’ roster since the team announced it would be cutting Cody Parkey effective on June 1. Redford Jones and Chris Blewitt have already been added to the roster as G.M. Ryan Pace prepares for a competition to determine Parkey’s replacement.
