Jay Cutler Expected to Announce Retirement, Again

Former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has already retired and come back once before, but now it appears that he’s ready to hang up his spikes again.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Cutler is expected to announce his retirement. He played last season with the Miami Dolphins, throwing for 2666 yards and 19 touchdowns in 14 games, but likely wouldn’t have been in the mix for the team’s starting job with Ryan Tannehill returning from a knee injury.

Rapoport says its unclear what Cutler will do when he retires. Last season he was set to become an analyst for Fox during NFL games, but left the booth to return to the field when the Dolphins came calling.

Cutler reportedly will star in a new reality show with his wife Kristin Cavallari. The show is set to debut this summer on E! Network.
