Khalil Mack, Allen Robinson Both Miss Bears' Practice

Mack and Robinson are both nursing injuries, and the team is playing things cautiously with both players

The Chicago Bears are getting ready for a tough matchup with the New York Jets on Sunday, and two of their biggest stars once again were out of practice due to injuries.

Linebacker Khalil Mack, who has been hampered by an ankle injury, did not participate in practice for the second straight day, but is still expected to play against the Jets.

Wide receiver Allen Robinson, who has been nursing a groin injury he picked up last week, also did not practice for the Bears, as he missed his second straight workout.

Finally, offensive lineman Eric Kush was once again out of practice with a neck injury. The left guard, who has been sharing time with James Daniels at the position, has been a key contributor for a Bears’ offensive line that has had some good success in protecting Mitchell Trubisky this season.

The Bears did get some good news on the injury front, as defensive back Marcus Cooper Sr., who has established himself as a solid special teams player, was a full participant in the workout at Halas Hall.

The Bears’ final injury report will be released Friday, and will shed more light on the game-time status for all three players.
