Eagles vs. Bears: Jackson Returns to Practice Thursday

Jackson participated in limited fashion for the first time since spraining his ankle against the Packers

For the first time since mid-December, Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson was on the practice field at Halas Hall on Thursday afternoon.

Jackson, who has missed the Bears’ last two games with a sprained ankle, did practice in limited fashion, according to the team.

Several Bears reporters did say that Jackson appeared to be favoring the injury, but he still has three days before the team takes on the Philadelphia Eagles at Soldier Field.

Linebacker Aaron Lynch was once again out for the Bears as he deals with a sore elbow, and Kyle Long was given a veteran’s day off from the practice field.

Wide receivers Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel, and Anthony Miller were all full participants for the second straight day. Robinson missed the team’s Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings, and both Gabriel and Miller suffered injuries in that victory.

Eagles defensive end Michael Bennett was out for a second straight day at practice with a sore foot, and cornerback Sidney Jones also missed the workout with a hamstring issue.

Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox was a limited participant in the practice, as was left tackle Jason Peters.

Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was a full participant as he continues dealing with a rib injury.
