Bears Draft Linebacker Jon Bostic from Florida

The Chicago Bears on Friday evening used their second round draft pick on Jonathan Bostic, a linebacker from the University of Florida.

The 6 foot, 1 inch, 245 pound defenseman started 32 of the 51 games he played with the Gators. He recorded 237 tackles.

Though he's not known to be quick, he's got a massive frame and is a tough and aggressive run defender.

Bostic is the son of former defensive back Jon Bostic of the Detroit Lions.

The Bears on Thursday night used their first round draft pick on Kyle Long, son of Hall of Famer Howie Long.
