The Chicago Bears are back to the .500 mark after a closely-contested victory over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

Mitchell Trubisky threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns in the game, including a touchdown pass to David Montgomery with less than 2:30 remaining in the contest to put the Bears ahead.

David Montgomery rushed for 75 yards in the victory, and Anthony Miller caught nine passes for 140 yards.

In his first career NFL start, David Blough hit Kenny Golladay for a 75-yard touchdown completion and finished the game with 280 passing yards and two touchdowns in the contest.

Bo Scarbrough rushed for 83 yards as the Lions fell to 3-8-1 on the season.

The Lions raced out to a 17-7 lead in the first half thanks to touchdown catches by Golladay and Marvin Jones, but the Bears slowly chipped away at the advantage with a second-quarter field goal from Eddy Piñeiro to make it 17-10 at halftime.

Trubisky came alive in the second half, finding Jesper Horsted for a touchdown pass in the third quarter to tie the game at 17-17.

In the fourth quarter, Trubisky led the Bears on a nine-play, 90-yard scoring drive, capping it off with a three-yard touchdown pass to Montgomery that gave the Bears a 24-20 lead.

In the closing seconds, Blough had to heave the ball down the field on a 4th-and-22 play, but Eddie Jackson intercepted the pass and ended the Lions' hopes of a comeback.

The Bears will be back in action next week in another Thursday showdown as they take on the Dallas Cowboys.
