Colin Kaepernick will host a highly-publicized workout in Atlanta this weekend, and although 11 teams have already committed to sending representatives to evaluate the quarterback, the Chicago Bears are currently not planning on attending.

According to the NFL, at least 11 teams have committed to send representatives to the workout, including the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions, but the Bears were not on the list.

The league does expect additional teams to commit, according to a press release.

Kaepernick has not played in an NFL game in three years and has been the subject of controversy because of his decision to kneel during the National Anthem prior to games. Kaepernick had filed a lawsuit against the league, alleging that teams were colluding in not signing him, but the suit was eventually settled, and now it appears that the quarterback is going to try to take another shot at getting back into the NFL.

Former Browns head coach Hue Jackson will lead the drills, according to the league, and former Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin will also help with the workout.

Videos of the workout will be sent to all 32 teams, along with video of interviews conducted with Kaepernick.

The Cardinals, Falcons, Browns, Broncos, Dolphins, Giants, Jets, Buccaneers, and Redskins will also send representatives to the workout, according to the league.
