The Chicago Bears are ice cold - literally.
The team is marking the first playoff appearance in eight years by installing ice sculptures around the city.
Four ice sculptures will be created and installed Friday morning, the team announced.
A bear head was placed in CDW Plaza, at 120 S. Riverside Plaza, while a "Monsters of the Midway" sculpture is located in Pioneer Court at 401 N. Michigan Ave.
A "Bear Down Emoji" ice sculpture will grace Gallagher Way near the Cubs' stadium, and a fourth "Da Bears" piece will land in Millennium Park.
That last sculpture will be created in a live demo beginning at 11 a.m. until it's completed by around 2 p.m.
The demo will take place at the corner of Randolph and Michigan, according to the Bears.

The Bears are scheduled to take on the Philadelphia Eagles at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at Soldier Field.
