The New York Post reports that Denver quarterback Tim Tebow and everyone's favorite adorable singer Taylor Swift had dinner together in Los Angeles last week. The paper speculates that Tebow would be an appropriate boyfriend for Swift because of his age and their shared Christian background.
Their pairing would make them the latest super-couple from the NFL, but let's not forget who is the No. 1 power couple in the NFL. It's Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari. (OK, fine. They're the second power couple behind Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. But No. 1 in the Midwest!)
SwiftBow would have a long way to go in catching up with CavCut. Cavallari goes to Bears games, tweets her support to the team, and has already been shopping for Bears-clothes for their on-the-way baby. Cutler has been in the audience for Cavallari's fashion shows and stint on "Dancing with the Stars." They are the very model of an NFL power couple.
What would SwiftBow need to do to surpass them? At the very least, we need to see Swift in concert wearing a Tebow jersey while Tebow looks on adoringly as she sings. They need to be photographed by the paparazzi at least once. And truly, is it really a relationship until People magazine weighs in?
