Packers' Safety Investigated by NFL for Confronting Chicago Fan

Chicago Bears fans may have had as much to do with the Bears victory Monday night as the players did. The 12th man got into at least on Packers' head.

Safety Nick Collins is being investigated by the league for confronting a fan over some comments that were tossed his way from the stands.

According to the AP, a Chicago fan spit on Collins and used a racial slur against the defensive back. Collins was seen on game tape yelling at the fan as he left the field.

The NFL is "in the process of reviewing all the facts," spokesman Greg Aiello said.

Collins had a rough game: he was flagged for a late hit on Jay Cutler on Matt Forte, and had an interception overturned because of a roughing the passer call.

While Grizzly Detail appreciates the voracious nature of Chicago's fans, we emplore them to keep it on the level.
