Mike Martz

The genius behind the St. Louis Rams' "Greatest Show on Turf", Mike Martz’s high powered offenses are high-risk, high-reward --- when they work.

Bears fans warmly received Martz after frustrations with former Offensive Coordinator Ron Turner’s conservative play calling boiled over following the 2009 season, but astute watchers now harbor concerns that his 'genius' will get quarterback Jay Culter- who was sacked 52 times in 2010 -- killed.

Despite his prowess, and wllingness to  run the occasional wide receiver reverse on 3rd and 3, Martz’s Bears' offense still ranked 30th in the league.

Will Martz meet expectations following the Bears' offensive upgrades made this off-season, or will his pass happy philosophy flop one more time? Will two years in the system prove a boon to the team, or will Martz hit the road after his contract is up this year?
