Kristin Cavallari's New Book Reveals Surprise About Cutler

It appears when he’s not on the football field, former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler can be quite the host.

In her new cookbook “True Roots,” Kristin Cavallari reportedly revealed that when she and Cutler have guests in their new Nashville home, Cutler likes to make acorn squash boats for breakfast.

“We’ve never had one person not comment on how good and different they are,” Cavallari wrote, according to the Chicago Tribune. “They’re the perfect balance between salty (sausage), sweet (squash) and deliciousness.”

Among other Cutler things revealed in the new book are his favorite drink (whiskey with ginger-infused ice cubes and thyme), his weakness (anything with chocolate peanut butter) and that he apparently enjoys hunting.

Though the couple sold their suburban Chicago mansion following Cutler’s departure from the Bears, it appears Cavallari isn’t giving up her Chicago-area roots just yet.

She’s scheduled to make two Illinois stops on her book tour this month.

Cavallari will appear at Anderson’s in La Grange on April 24 and at the Lake Forest Book Store on April 25.
