Greg Olsen Kicked Off of High School Fields

While trying to get in a workout, Greg Olsen was kicked off the fields at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Ill.

He told ESPN that he tried to use the fields to work out since he can't go to Halas Hall during the lockout.

"The other day I got kicked off a high school field trying to go out and do some field work, so it's not easy," Olsen said Thursday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I live right down the street from Stevenson. The other day I went out there, done it a bunch of times, and all of a sudden they kicked me off."

This makes sense. If I were a parent of a Stevenson student, I wouldn't want a 6-foot-5, 255 pound  man wandering around my son or daughter's high school without permission.

But the players are locked out from their practice facilities, so could an area high school be so kind as to offer their facilities?

If not Stevenson, their crosstown rival of Buffalo Grove could step up.

Lake Forest High School isn't far from Halas Hall, and Loyola Academy has new fields to show off.

Though it's far from the north shore, where many players live, my alma mater could offer the Priory.

Some high school with a spare football field has to take pity on our poor Bears without a place to workout out.

Thanks to Shutdown Corner.
