Chester Taylor's Not Leaving

Chester Taylor is not going anywhere.

Published reports suggesting the Chicago Bears would release the backup after paying him $7 million last season are untrue, Taylor's agent Ken Sarnoff said.

"Chester loves Chicago, and loves being a Bear" Sarnoff told NBC Chicago.

Taylor fully expects to return despite a less than stellar debut season which included an altercation with a teammate in practice and sub par numbers on the field.

In Matt Forte's career season, Taylor picked up just 267 yards and 2.4 yards per carry.

the Bears did pay Taylor a front loaded contact which included $7 million dollars last season.  But at $1.25 million this season Taylor will be a bargain.

The 32-year-old Taylor has 3 years left on his Bears contract.
