Brian Urlacher Linked to Jenny McCarthy

Brian Urlacher was presented with the Ed Block Award for Courage in Chicago on Tuesday but was in Beverly Hills last night. TMZ caught the linebacker leaving Mastro's Steakhouse with actress and former Playmate Jenny McCarthy.

Say it with me like you did in sixth grade: OOOOOOOOOH. The famous pair tried to sneak out to avoid cameras, but Urlacher's large frame doesn't lend well to blending in. His engagement was called off last year and she went through a high-profile break-up with actor Jim Carrey. If this is the start of a relationship, he'll be the second Bear to have a significant other connected to Hollywood. Jay Cutler's fiancee, Kristin Cavallari, starred in two reality shows based in southern California.

Urlacher has been in the paparazzi's eye before during a short relationship with heiress Paris Hilton. She wore his jersey to a Bears game and was caught on camera cheering him on.

But it's not fair to compare McCarthy to Hilton. First off, McCarthy is one of us. She's South Side Irish and a graduate of Mother McAuley High School. With a list of acting credits to her name, she actually has a job as an actress and isn't paid for being famous.

So best of luck to you, Brian and Jenny. And a tip to stay out of the paparazzi's glare: There is a Mastro's in Chicago. Go there for your steak.
