Bears Change Security Measures for Sunday's Game

If you're coming to Sunday's Bears game against the Chiefs, allow plenty of extra time.

The Bears will enact extra security measures, scanning game attendees with a wand. If you are screened, you will be asked to remove all metal from your pockets.

The hope is that wanding will eventually replace patdowns.

The change is being made after NFL security made the suggestion. Security will continue to check bags by hand.

What does that mean for you?

That as the Bears phase in the changed procedures, it will take more time to get into Soldier Field.

Give yourself plenty of time, don't carry a ton of change in your pockets, and be nice to the security staff. Show the Kansas Citians that the nicest fans in the the NFL live right here in Chicago.
