Bears Bring Creature Comforts to Camp

Just like college kids moving into dorms, the Bears showed up at Olivet-Nazarene University in Bourbonnais on Tuesday. They brought with them the random items and requests college kids bring, too.

D.J. Moore needs a television. He tweeted, "Is anyone willing to let me borrow there small tv for camp. Bourbonnais il." Can you blame him? After a long day of training, the man doesn't want to miss out on "Bunheads."* He showed up with fellow Vanderbilt Commodore Earl Bennett.

Several special teams and offensive line standouts showed up to camp Bourbonnais early in the day. Patrick Mannelly, the longest-serving Bear, knows by now how to handle living in the dorms. He brought a comforter that can only be described as incredibly fluffy.

Training camp is a long, difficult three weeks for the players. The Bears are away from their family and staying in rooms much smaller and Spartan than they are used to. It's a smart move to try to make it as comfortable as possible, even if it means begging Twitter followers for a television.

*OK, we have no proof D.J. Moore loves "Bunheads," but Sutton Foster is pretty amazing in it.
