As we brace for another blast of winter, forecasters say 2008 could be the wettest year ever in Chicago.

We hope you enjoyed the fall-like weather Sunday because winter is making a comeback.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter advisory  until 4 a.m. Monday.

Freezing rain and sleet are expected to move in along with a cold front that began at 9 p.m. Sunday.   .

As well, forecasters from the weather service 2008 could be the wettest year in Chicago history. 

Through Dec. 10, Chicago's had 47.11 inches of rain. In 1983, Chicago had 49.35 inches of precipitation, making it the wettest year ever.
