Today: Overcast, damp and cold with haze and areas of fog, dense in some locations with some freezing fog likey in spots, especially well inland. A mix of light freezing rain, freezing drizzle or light snow showers in far southern counties and in NW Indiana in the morning will be possible. Plenty of clouds in the afternoon, but a few peeks of sun will be possible. Highs in the mid to upper 30s. Light E/SE winds shift W in the afternoon between 5 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph as temps slowly fall.
Tonight: Mostly to partly cloudy, breezy and colder. Low 20s well inland, moderating to mid and upper 20s in the city and along the lakefront. Wind: W 10-15 with gusts to 25 mph.
Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, breezy and colder. Highs in the upper 20s.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy, windy and much colder. Some Lake Effect snow showers in the Michicana snow belts. Highs in the mid 20s, but falling in to the teens overnight.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, breezy and quite cold. Lake Effect snow showers continue in the Michiana snow belts. Highs in the low 20s.
Saturday: Overcast with some light snow showers or flurries at times. Highs in the upper 20s to low 30s.
Sunday: Overcast with snow which may be moderate to heavy at times with several inches of accumulation possible by late in the day. This storm is days away so timing and amounts could change. Monitor the forecast for updates. Highs in the low 30s. Cloudy with more snow overnight.
